CCSAA Annual Convention

Mt. Bachelor
Seventh Mountain Resort, Bend, OR
April 7-9, 2010

From across Canada and the United States (and sometimes New Zealand and Australia) ski area professionals gather for 3 days to review their nordic operations, discuss changes, and in general share information with one and other. The agenda creates a friendly and valuable nordic network of ski industry professionals. Meals are eaten together as a group, time is provided daily for skiing (often with skill improvement clinics from the finest instructors & coaches), and all the lodging is at one property further inviting casual networking. Attendance is high at the seminars and presentations, generally followed by lively discussion. It's not unusual for ski areas to feel that one good idea from the CCSAA Convention more than covered the expense of registration and travel.

CCSAA Eastern Meeting

Eastman Cross Country in Grantham, NH November 2010

Online registration now available. Go to registration.

The season kick-off is always the CCSAA Eastern Meeting in late fall. Our meeting often brings the first flakes or  early dusting to the host area. Everyone leaves with cases of Nature Valley Granola Bars for sampling to their cross country skiers during the winter. So, make room in the car.

If you've got a bit of drive to get to the meeting's location, CCSAA has arranged for affordable overnight accommodations as well as some casual fun networking the evening prior. The registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

A trade expo and parking lot display of grooming vehicles is scheduled for early morning and is where the continental breakfast will be available. Vendors pay the same registration as attendees.
