The largest connected nordic ski area in the country with over 200 km of groomed ski trails. Groomed daily, with scenic and varied terrain for all abilities, from young families to competetive racers. On the East side of the Cascades, the Methow Valley enjoys sunny days and plenty of snow. Ski trails open and groomed December thru mid March, and become bike/hike trails in summer months. The town of Winthrop has new resturants, bookstore, bakery, sports shops, and lodging for all budget types.

With cooperation from Mother Nature, we usually have a healthy snowpack for great skiing through mid-April. Nordic Center opens 9 am to 4 pm. Free shuttle between the summit and the Stevens Pass Nordic Center, 5 miles east of the alpine area. Enjoy a day of cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at the Nordic Center while the rest of your family skis or snowboards at the alpine area. See the parking attendant in the lots or go directly to the parking building to arrange transportation. We’re off the grid at the Nordic Center. Come celebrate the uniqueness that is Steven's Pass.

Located adjacent to the Alpine area, the Nordic center invites families to enjoy a variety of winter activities at one location. The Nordic Center is located in a warm and cozy Yurt at the trail head. A spacious deck overlooks the teaching and Nordic Park area. Trails roll off into the forest where trees hundreds of years old tower above the spacious corridors. Skiers enjoy 16 K of groomed trails with track and skate decks. Additional ungroomed snowshoe trails lace the area. New ski rentals are available as well as a complete snowshoe rental fleet.
