Come back May-Oct. for cycling, hiking, mountain climbing, fly fishing, white water rafting, float trips, horseback riding, sightseeing tours in Banff National Park, heli-sightseeing tours, canoeing, gondola, boat cruise, hummer tours & shopping.

The Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, offers 65 km of groomed & track set ski trails to accommodate classic & skating techniques on the same trails for novice, intermediate and advanced skiers. The Centre also offers 6.5 km of illuminated night skiing trails available until 9:00pm. After skiing, relax in the comfort of the day lodge. There are trail maps, site information, washrooms, showers, day lockers, a stone fireplace and a licensed café available in the day lodge. Trail Sports, the on-site ski & bike shop provides rentals, lessons, ski repairs and expert advice on the purchase of equipment and accessories.

This beautiful, 550 acre, natural recreation area is owned by Strathcona County and nestled in the lovely town of Sherwood Park. Open year round for outdoor recreation. Extensive programming, naturalist programs & special events. Our wildlife sightings of deer, moose, porcupine, birds and squirrels are sure to delight the little ones. We’re all about you having fun outdoors cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing, and camping. Rustic dorm lodging with bunk beds (bring your bedding) and common dining area with lounge. Wonderful for families and nature lovers.
