Our Nordic Ski School boasts a variety of lesson programs from single day clinics to multi-session programs for skiers of all ages and abilities.
When you are on the 19 km of track set Cross Country trails don't forget to make a stop at the historic Hollyburn Lodge for some great food or our fully licensed cafe for a hot beverage, in a one of a kind atmosphere. Hollyburn Lodge was built back in 1926 and offers a truly unique experience on Cypress Mountain.

The Dakota Ridge recreation area offers world-class cross
country skiing and snowshoeing on BC's Sunshine Coast,
a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West
Dakota Ridge is a 1,532 acre plateau featuring 20 kilometres
of world class cross country ski trails, 4
kilometres of groomed snowshoe trails, and 3 kilometres of
wilderness snowshoe trails. The trails wind through old growth
forests and open areas in a beautiful sub alpine setting.
Topping out at 1,200 metres, amazing views of the Coast
Mountains, Vancouver Island, and Salish Sea, capture the
magic of the Sunshine Coast.

Only a few minutes walk from Whistler Village, come enjoy 32kms of daily groomed and trackset ski trails with 4kms of lit trails for night skiing. Explore 12kms of well marked snowshoe trails through forests, along streams and lakes with beautiful view points along the way. Full service passive solar daylodge with cafe, rentals, lessons, washrooms, and facility rental available for private functions. Warming hut log cabin located by the lake for guests to relax in. We are open everyday 8am-8pm, typically from Mid Dec to end of March. Voted Whistlers best Cross Country Ski Area in 2013.
