description Pineridge XC Ski Area is 35 minutes east of Albany in East Poestenkill, NY, nestled in the foothills of the Taconic and Berkshire Mountains. Ski and snowshoe trails wind through 900 acres of private forest along the picturesque Poestenkill Creek, climb to elevations of 1746' and offer views of the Berkshires. Pineridge provides great skiing and snowshoeing for all ages and abilities. 57 Km of trails - 35 Km groomed and tracked, 15 Km ungroomed for snowshoeing, 7 Km back country skiing, 4 Km of lighted trails.
