description Lake Placid’s complete Nordic center. Celebrating 30+ years. Wind-protected trails wind through balsam & fir forests, all abilities. Trails connect to Mt. Van Hoevenberg’s Olympic trails and the Jack Rabbit trails. Lunch on the Sun Deck overlooking spectacular views. Our Cascade Ski Shop has everything from backcountry gear & advice on the High Peak’s region to recreational, touring gear and clothing. Try our equipment before buying! Racing inventory, too. Full bar. Saturday full moon ski parties (skiing, bonfires, refreshments, adult beverages, live band, hundreds of happy people!). 6 room rustic pine bunkhouse, 4 baths, and breakfast.
