description Maine Huts and Trails, located in Western Maine currently consists of a 45 mile trail corridor connecting three newly constructed lodges. The trails are groomed for both skate and classic cross country skiing. These are full service backcountry huts offering overnight accommodations with comfortable beds, showers, and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Skiers may ski anytime at no cost. The huts are available for lunch or to stay overnight with both dinner & breakfast as part of a package. Skiers may also organize a hut-to-hut experience and visit a different hut each night, creating a multi day backcountry adventure.
